December 2011—Michigan just announced on their website that holders have an opportunity to take advantage of a Voluntary Disclosure Program ("VDP") for a limited period.   Specifically, the Michigan State Treasurer's Office ("Treasurer") has stated that "…entities that have not previously reported or have underreported unclaimed property in the past" have an opportunity to voluntarily comply with the Michigan Unclaimed Property Act ("Act") by participating in the VDP.
